Agreement and Status
By using this private reference site, you accept these terms. The operator is not affiliated with Koochiching County, a sheriff, jail, police department, corrections department, or another government agency. The service points toward publicly available record resources and third-party tools. It is not a private investigation firm or a consumer reporting agency.
Permitted Use
Use the service only for lawful, personal, informational, court, records, notification, or other permitted purposes. Do not use it to harass, threaten, stalk, impersonate, publish false claims, bypass security, copy data at scale, interfere with a government system, or violate another person’s rights. A booking entry is not a conviction and must not be represented as one.
Official and Outside Sources
Links can lead to Koochiching County, Minnesota courts, Minnesota DOC, a city agency, a search partner, or another outside website. The destination operator controls its own record, availability, terms, and privacy practices. An outbound link is not an endorsement, verification, or guarantee of the destination’s content.
No Warranties
The service is provided as is and as available. The operator does not warrant that a page, search result, external link, record, or description is complete, current, accurate, secure, uninterrupted, suitable for a particular purpose, or free from errors. Confirm information with the originating government office or court.
Limits of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operator and its providers are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the service or an outside link. This includes loss connected to a changed record, unavailable source, or a reader’s interpretation of information.
Indemnification
You agree to defend and hold the operator, providers, and partners harmless from claims, losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of another person’s rights or applicable law.
Intellectual Property
The site’s original text, branding, graphics, layout, and code are owned by the operator or content partners and are protected by applicable law. Do not copy, distribute, modify, scrape, reproduce, or create derivative work from protected material without written permission, except as allowed by law.
Changes and Access
Terms, features, links, and content can change at any time. Access may be suspended, restricted, or ended for misuse, security, maintenance, legal compliance, or any other legitimate reason. Continued use after a posted change means acceptance of the updated terms.
Minnesota Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Minnesota, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Minnesota, unless applicable law requires another forum. Official requests to Minnesota government entities remain governed by the relevant statutes, including Minn. Stat. Chapter 13 where applicable.
Severability and Questions
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining terms stay in effect. A failure to enforce one provision is not a waiver of another. Questions about a government record must go to the office that holds it. Questions about these site terms can be directed through the contact method provided by the site operator.
