Private Site Notice
This is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody or release, retrieve a record, change a booking entry, or give legal advice. For an emergency call 911. For any current custody, record, court, or police question, contact the official office that maintains the information.
Koochiching Sheriff and Jail
The Koochiching County Sheriff’s Office and Koochiching County Jail operate through the Law Enforcement Center. The Civil Division handles the county records route during its published hours. The current county pages, rather than older directories, control when phone or routing information differs.
Where to Look
Use the record source that matches the custody state or originating agency. The jail PDF is for current county custody. A sheriff request is the fallback for a released person or a fuller county record. International Falls Police maintains its own data-request form for a city-created report. Court records explain what happened after booking.

- Court case or disposition: Koochiching County District Court, 715 4th Street, International Falls, MN 56649, 218-283-1160.

Records and Court Requests
Tell the custodian the name, approximate date, agency, case number if known, and the exact existing record sought. The Sheriff form lists $0.25 per page for ordinary copies and $25 per CD for digital photos, subject to actual costs. Minnesota Government Data Practices Act requests are handled by the responsible agency, and the response may include lawful redactions. A charge or booking is not a conviction, so court disposition remains important.
